Meet Alex Livadas, Executive Sales Consultant

In the next installment of our Employee Spotlight Series, we are highlighting Alex Livadas, an Executive Sales Consultant with Fletcher Jones Motorcars in Newport Beach, CA.

Before Mercedes-Benz Sales

Alex was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He headed to the U.S. at 21 to study at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, resulting in an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. After his studies, he chose to reside in the U.S. and begin his lifelong career in Mercedes-Benz sales.

31 Years of Mercedes-Benz Sales

Over the course of more than 3 decades, Alex shares, “my guests have become personal friends because I regard them as family.” He has also created a Team Concept, where Alex and his two longtime partners, Trevor Wightman and Pon Shen, take care of new & returning guests with honesty and transparency. He says, “My team and I have been at Fletcher Jones for 12 years. We have created many great relationships and we regard our guests as close friends.”

Avid Believer in Electric Vehicles

For the past 7 years, Alex has been driving the entry Mercedes-Benz B250; however, on Christmas Eve, he had the opportunity to take delivery of the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan. He shares, “It’s the most amazing electric car. I respect and applaud Elon Musk and Tesla for innovating and proving the benefits of an electric vehicle. Now, we have the Mercedes-Benz of electric vehicles and there are many more coming soon.”
 

Outside of Work

When Alex is not busy working with guests, he is busy visiting his home in Greece, running 4 miles a day or watching F1 Motor Racing. Every summer, Alex returns to his home in Greece with his 2 amazing children and his two grandchildren (11 year old twins). Last summer, they spent a week on a catamaran sailing around Mykonos and Delos! He says, “If you ever go to Greece, don’t miss having dinner at Dionysos restaurant right under the Acropolis! It will be a magical night under the stars and the Parthenon lit up.”

He is an avid marathon runner, having completed both the Boston and New York marathons, but day-to-day, he is running 4 miles a day (even after a hip replacement!) His passion for F1 Motor Racing has taken him to the Monaco Grand Prix with this daughter, Athena. He shares, “I had the good fortune of having Lewis Hamilton, F1 World Champion, as my guest at Fletcher Jones Motorcars.”
