2019 C-Class Sedan Preview
Mercedes-Benz is shifting its attention toward a more streamlined look for their vehicles—the Mercedes-Benz C-Class included. That being said, major changes are on the horizon for the C-Class, but not for a few more years. For 2019, the C-Class is getting a few aesthetic updates here and there, plus new optional features for the cabin. You can expect it to arrive in Orange County in late 2018. Look below for a quick overview of the changes!
Engine Updates
One of the most exciting changes is the upgrade to more powerful engines. For 2019, the C-Class C 300 is again getting a 2.0L turbo inline-4—but this time, it’ll produce 14 horsepower more. There will be no change to torque, however. Moving up to the AMG® C 43, you can expect its 3.0L bi-turbo V6 to get a power bump of 28 hp.
Style Updates
Again, the C-Class exterior changes are small, although not unimportant. There’s plenty for Costa Mesa and Irvine drivers to be excited about, including a chrome-plated trim, fresh LED headlamps, and new metallic colors like Mojave Silver and Emerald Green. The C-Class is also getting an optional Intelligent Light System, which is currently offered on the E-Class and S-Class.
Interior Updates
The interior of the C-Class Sedan will carry over mostly unchanged. However, there are few new optional features for Huntington Beach drivers to look forward to:
- Optional Car-to-X Communication (another feature from the E-class and S-Class)
- Optional 10.2-inch display
- Optional COMAND® navigation with new 3D mapping
- Optional wireless charging
- Optional touchpad controller with new haptic feedback
