*You will need a registered RFID card.
Park, turn off your Mercedes-EQ, and exit your vehicle. Have your RFID card available.
Tap your RFID card on the tap icon where displayed on the charging station. The tap icon is a circle with a hand holding a card to the right side of the circle.
The charging station will authenticate using your Mercedes me Charge account.
Plug the charging cable into your Mercedes-EQ vehicle.
Your charging session will now begin.
*If you have not registered your RFID card, visit the Mercedes me Charge portal to start the registration process.
