Driver-Centric Handling

With a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder, the E 300 and the A6 2.0T Premium produce 241 hp and 252 hp, respectively. Both generate 273 lb.-ft. of torque. While the A6 Sedan wins out in the horsepower category, the E 300 Sedan allows you to customize your drive to a more satisfying degree. Driver-selectable modes are standard on both sedans, but only the E 300 includes a 9G-TRONIC® 9-speed transmission for silky-smooth performance and handling on Costa Mesa roads. You can also choose between optional sport- or comfort-oriented suspension.

Luxury & Convenience Extras

Enhanced with authentic wood trim, a navigation system with a large central display, and leather upholstery, the cabins of the new E 300 and A6 represent high-points in the luxury segment. True to its reputation for extravagance and driver enjoyment, however, the 2018 E-Class offers a bigger handful of features vs. the 2018 Audi A6, and includes the following as standard equipment:

  • All-LED exterior lighting
  • 64-color ambient LED interior lighting
  • Steering wheel-mounted Touch Controls
  • Front dual power lumbar support
  • Optional power sunshade for the roof
  • Optional cooled front seats
  • Optional electronic trunk lid

Intuitive Safety Technology

Both the E 300 and A6 come with their share of safety features, including a rearview camera, keyless entry, a forward collision warning system, and a pre-collision system.

Behind the wheel of the E 300, though, Irvine will enjoy the peace of mind that comes with additional features not found on the A6:

  • Car-to-X Communication—lets you send/receive alerts from other E-Class drivers in Orange County.
  • PRESAFE® Sound—emits a “pink noise” through the audio system if a crash is imminent, protecting occupants’ hearing.
  • ATTENTION ASSIST®learns your driving behaviors over time and can recognize signs of drowsiness on the road.
