As a result, it delivers 26 more horsepower and 37 lb-ft of torque more than the standard AMG® GT 63, up to 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft. Stopping power comes courtesy of AMG® carbon ceramic high performance brakes and six-piston calipers fitted as standard equipment.

AMG® engineers have revamped the cooling system by way of two radiators positioned behind the new carbon fiber front air intakes, one in front of each wheel. The two top-mounted radiators for the front and rear differentials, as well as the transfer case for the AMG® 4MATIC®+ all wheel drive system, are now actively cooled thanks to electrically operated water pumps, ensuring continuous coolant circulation and heat dissipation.
