Oktoberfest in Orange County ft Repair Bear
Doesn’t matter what time of year it is, Repair Bear knows how to party, and our friends over at Where’s The Party in Costa Mesa know how to help you with your party needs. Repair Bear found this awesome “California Knows How To Party” pillow at their store and could see right away that it was referring to him. His picture was on it! He knew it’d make the perfect accessory for being chauffeured around in a Mercedes-Maybach for Oktoberfest activities. His favorite brew is root beer, especially with a scoop of ice cream.
Oktoberfest is a great celebration that allows everyone – regardless of their heritage – to party like a German. With great beer, great food, music to get you dancing and a kid-friendly atmosphere, there’s no reason not to celebrate Oktoberfest.
If you want to party (or at least eat) like a German (or a bear) this fall, here are a few great spots to check out around Orange County for when you too are ready to put the lederhosen on!

The Phoenix Club has everything you could want in an Oktoberfest celebration. Of course, you’ll find great German beer and food, including homemade pretzels and bratwurst. But you’ll also find a very festive setting with live music designed to get you dancing. In fact, polka lessons are part of the celebration here. The Phoenix Club also has a bounce house so you can bring the whole family. The crowd here is only interested in having a good time, and The Phoenix Club makes it easy to do just that. Celebrate Oktoberfest every weekend from September 19 to October 26.

Everything about Oktoberfest at Old World Village is big. You’ll find a big beer garden served in big mugs (by beautiful women), and a big crowd. This event is now in its 36th year, and “The Herbmeister” Herb Schwarz has been the MC for most of those years. He is a character that adds great local color to the event. This is a great event for the whole family, especially on Sundays. Every Sunday during Oktoberfest here is Kinderfest with lots of activities for kids.
13011 Newport Ave.
Tustin, CA 92780
Tustin Brewing Company has one of the essential components of the celebration: an Oktoberfest beer. Every September, you’ll find the Oktoberfest lager here. It is the best-selling seasonal beer made here and it sells out every year. Make sure you get there early in the month so you can enjoy this fine brew before it’s gone for another year.
2525 E. Ball Road
Anaheim, CA 92806
You won’t find any bands or dancing here, but you will find lots of great German food and beer. Jagerhaus is one of the only German restaurants in Orange County and you can get a great meal here without having to worry about parking or fighting crowds. This place has a variety of schnitzel dishes. You can get it made with turkey, veal or pork. Also try the potato pancakes with applesauce. No matter what you order here, you won’t leave hungry.
